Punch Up At QPR......

I shouldn't laugh, but my beloved (sometimes anyway) Dermot Gallagher, was in charge of an unnanounced match today, involving a QPR XI and a China XI at the QPR training ground.

Unfortunately, Mayhem broke out at Harlington as a fight forced the abandonement of the 'friendly'.

The game between a QPR XI and the China U23 side ended in violent chaos.Police were called after the match was abandoned following a mass brawl in which a Chinese player was knocked unconscious.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.

One onlooker said:they'd never seen anything like it in their life. There were punches, kung-fu kicks and all sorts. It was absolute mayhem.

I don't think there's any such thing as a quiet day at the office these days for Dermie baby, lmao. Wish I'd been there to see it though. I haven't had too much excitement at footy lately.........other than the Hull game maybe, lol.

I wish I had known before-hand QPR were playing the Chinese u23's at Harlington.

Sounds like it would have been an interesting day out.

I bet we get hammered by the FA though.

For some reason, QPR didn't want anyone knowing about it.

I understand they even went as far as to deny the game was even being held.

Probably the worse brawl I have seen.

It will be interesting how the FA will act but It certainly wasn't the FRIENDLY game lol that QPR hoped for
